The Board of Deacons are persons of spirtiual character, honest repute, exemplary lives, brotherly and sisterly love, warm sympathies, and sound judgment that should be chosen for this office. A Deacon, as set forth in scripture, is one of sympathy, witness and service after the example of Jesus Christ.

We believe that the love of God is made evident by the way we treat others. We commit ourselves to minister to all who are in need of physical, social financial or emotional support in accord with agaoe love (unconditional love).

Deacons are responsible for the provisions of church, both physically and spiritually. Deacons assist and aid every ministry within the church. Deacons are amour-bearers to the Shepard and are also responsible for the up-keep of the church and safety of each member. The Deacons are servants of Christ and the church minister according to I Timothy 1:9 and I Timothy 3:9, hold the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience, being obligated to defend and support the doctrine of Jesus Christ with truth and a pure mind.
